Alkali-resistant glass fiber roving & Chopped strand

Brief Introduction: Alkali-resistant (AR) fiberglass, characterised by good alkali-resistance and high corrosion-resistance in cement and other alkali medium, has been used to reinforce cement, gypsum and other inorganic materials. Fiberglass Reinforced Cement (GRC) is a new type of inorganic composite building material. As a light, high strength, incombustible, designable and easy shaped material, it has been widely used in building industry nowadays in the world.

Our Products have won the third prize of National Science and Technology Advancement and the second award of Science and Technology Advancement of our country.

Our products are in compliance with the requirements of PCI, USA (Prestressed Concrete Institution, USA) and international GRC institution.

Alkali-resistant (AR) fiberglass products are including roving, scrim, waterdispersible and premix chopped strand etc.. In the quality management, we have acquired the certification of ISO9002 quality system.

1. Alkali-resistant glass fiber roving:

Two types of Alkali-resistant glass fiber roving: Roving (ZrO2¡Ý14.5%) and High performance Roving (ZrO2¡Ý16.5%).

Roving (ZrO2¡Ý14.5%) designed for use in the low alkali early strength concrete. The alkali resistance meet the requirements

of the commodity yarn standard of French"Cem-FIL-¢ò" and Japan "Minelion-L", and the requirements of PCI (Prestressed Concrete Institution) and international GRC institution.

High performance AR roving (ZrO2¡Ý16.5%) enabled to resist the very high alkalinity produced by the hydration of Ordinary Portland Cement. The alkali resistance meet the designation requirements of the Japan"NEG" and French "Cem-FIL-¢ò". the durability reach 50 over years and half life period reach 100 over years.

E-GLASS FIBRE

These fibres resisted the very high alkalinity produced by the hydration of Ordinary Portaland Cement and Exhibits a high degree of resistance to acids and alkalis, and have high strand tensile strength. Soaked in 100¡æ saturated Ca(OH)2 solution for 4 hours, remained filament strength>82%. Soaked in 100¡æ, 10% NaOH solution for 1 hour, weigh loss<5%.

2. Alkali-resistant Chopped strand

Two types of Alkali-resistant Chopped Strand: premix and water dispersible.

Premix chopped strand is treated by reinforced size. The abrasion resistant¡¢bundle state¡¢stiffness and durability is very good.

Mixed in cement at 50 rpm/min for 20 minutes, it still keeps a good bundle state without any filament dispersed from.

Premix chopped strand used for site construction and premixed GRC.

Water dispersible chopped strand have a sizing system which is water dispersible, allowing full dispersion into individual filaments in mixing in an aqueous environment. They incorporate easily into mixes giving a very large number of distributed reinforcing fibres from a small weight of product.

Water dispersible chopped strand used at a low level of addition to prevent cracking & improve the performance of ready mix concrete, floor screeds, rendersorother special mortar mixes.
